Good day my lovelies!
Wow! It's been a while since I wrote a post here on the blog.
I thought to start 2015 with a BANG!!!
Since I ship my blooms all over the world, I don't get to mount the flowers onto the surface - My clients do...and they always do an A.MA.ZING job!
Lets start with a fun project I did this past summer...I designed paper flowers for a photo backdrop at a celebrity event hosted by the lovely Lauren Conrad!
I KNOW!!!!!
How fabulous is to see photos of
Lauren Conrad standing in front of my flowers! The soirée at the Mondrian South Beach Hotel on July 9, 2014 in Miami, Florida
featured the new
Malibu Island Spice Rum.

Here is a stunning window installation at the studio of
Pistils & Petals Miami Beach.
I think the ladies did a fantastic job with the purple flowers that I originally made for a Bat Mitzvah installation and they re-used in their front street window!

Another beauty! This wedding decor was created by
Cantu's Special Events - I also made the flowers that were pinned at the back of every two chairs...it makes the whole paper
flower concept flow together!

Here comes the last wedding of the year!
The love celebration happened on December 31st, 2014!
"I stumbled across the maritime artisan shop Dragonfly Expression, who do wonderfully detailed work with paper – huge lifelike flower bursts, that were each personally constructed. I ordered boxes of them. As the event grew close, my patient staff at Something Borrowed Something Blue (under the direction of the artist herself) constructed a wall of these flowers. When we hung it, it gave me butterflies. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the whole Something Borrowed Something Blue team so excited about a single piece of decor.
Watching it take shape, as each piece was placed and re-placed to perfection, even delivery men were stopping to stare."

Stay tune to view more fabulous paper flower walls I designed for my wonderful clients! Until then, smile!
