Sprinkles Inspired Wedding

Happy Friday Lovelies!

I'm so happy to share with you one of my latest collection:

The lovely bride had used the Sprinkles as her wedding theme since the wedding cake will be covered in Sprinkles...To complement the theme, the paper flower bouquets and boutennieres had to be made with all the beautiful sprinkles colors!

I have to say...I LOVE IT!!!...All the beautiful colors and the touch of glitz...Totally F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S.

The bouquets traveled all the way to Australia for the wedding happening on January 5th, 2013!

Snow White Wedding Pomanders

Happy Tuesday Lovelies!

I have fabulous photos to share...I used my wedding shoes as accessories for the photos...I just love when I get to play with my wedding gear! Talking about my wedding shoes...On January 12th hubby and I will be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary!!...Where does the time go?...

I had the pleasure to create for a super sweet Bride 12 Pomanders for her special day...These Pomanders turned out F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S.

These lovelies will be decorating the aisle of the ceremony which by the way will be happening on December 31st, 2012...What a fantastic way to end the year and start a new one!!!

Gift Bows / Wedding Favor Embellishments!

Good morning Lovelies!

A cold one for me here...Minus 2 degree celcius...Brrrrr...

Fireplace is on and large cup of hot coffee in my hand...I'm ready to sieze the day!

For a few weeks I've been working with a super sweet Bride-To-Be...

I had the pleasure to create 72 lovely Rose Clusters in warm rich colors: red, orange and dark pink...The Bride will use these to embellish her gold color favor boxes...

STYLE ME PRETTY And More...

Happy Saturday Lovelies!

Busy one for me...I must take care of the grocery shopping duty and than I can settle at my work table to play with my paper...I have so many new ideas...But, for some reason this past week I felt like I was hitting a wall...NO INSPIRATION what so ever...I had a fantastic themed wedding to do (a bit Rock & Roll) and I couldn't make myself to do it...I had to redo the bouquet so many times...But NO fear...It's all done now and they turned out BEAUTIFUL!...I did one bride bouquet, 4 bridesmaids and 2 corsages and boutennieres...Oh! and I made a fabulous flower for the bride to wear in her hair...

I'm dying to share with you photos but the super sweet Bride-To-Be kindly asked me to keep it all secret until the wedding day...So, we'll have to wait a few more weeks!

PATIENCE friends...I have many other things to share!

First...This summer I had made little Rosetta flowers for a wedding planner...Michele had told me the wedding was no regular event and that every details must be perfect...Michele even sent me the paper she was using to make the menus for the dinner...totally chic...cream color with gold and the paper had a pearlized effect...divine...Anyway....I was able to match the paper and the flowers embellish fabulous menu cards for the dinner tables at the venue...Oh! So Very Chic! This wedding hapenned at the breathtaking Chateau Lake Louise in Banff, Alberta...A Dream location for weddings!

The talented Orange Girl Photographer had captured fabulous photos of this wedding and it was featured on the famous STYLE ME PRETTY website!

With these menus in mind...I had showed a lovely bride photos of this fabulous wedding and she asked me if I had any input about the menus...I thought...well...Since I used to make stationery...I can make them! While I was waiting to find back my inspiration for the Rock & Roll wedding bouquets...I made a sample menu for the client...I love it! I even used the embossing technic to embellish the card...I was so excited...it only took me 5 minutes to make it so, don't mind all the imperfections...I'm planning to create a few with an actual printed menu to give a better idea!

1950 Retro Inspired Professional Photos Shoot...

Happy Friday everyone!

Today...I'm sharing fabulous photographs with you...

Dzesika from {Dzesika} Devic Fotos took those stunning shots a while back...I was hoping the photos would be used in a wedding article written about my handmade paper flower bouquets...Since they didn't make it...I promised myself I would write about Dzesika's extraordinary work and boast her talent in capturing emotions and sharp eye to make the little details stand out!

A while back...A dear friend of mine from the Canadian West Coast had sent me the link to view Dzesika's fabulous work...I immediately fell in love with her style...The vintage/Retro look...Since I've work with professional photographers in the past...I contacted Dzesika offering a custom paper floral arrangement that she could use in one of her shoot and in exchange I could use the photos in my shop, Facebook Page and of course Blog! It worked out so nice...A young couple was schedule to have their 1st wedding anniversary shoot and the theme was 1950 Retro Inspired!...This is what I came up with:

As I mentionned...The couple in the photos just celebrated their first year anniversary, the day of the shoot they celebrated five years of being together,

her dress is her grandmothers who wore it on her first date with her grandfather.

His shirt was her grandfathers. How romantic is that?

Emmaline Bride® - Famous Wedding Website Feature!!!!

I have exciting news to share with you!!!

This past Tuesday I had the pleasure to have my beautiful handmade paper flower bouquets featured on the famous Wedding Website Emmaline Bride®!

What a delight it has been for me to create for this super sweet bride-to-be and her bridal party fabulous Vintage Peacock Inspired bouquets!

I was beside myself when a few weeks ago the Bride shared with me photos of her wedding...I got in touch immediately with the talented Photographer Rachel of Flashes Of Life Photography and she gladly sent my way fabulous photos featuring my bouquets!

The timing couldn't be more perfect since Emma from Emmaline Bride® had told me

about an upcoming feature on her Wedding Website!

I was so happy to be able to share with her photos of my bouquets taken at a real wedding!
